This Privacy Policy explains how UltimateShell handles information when you use the app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

• No account or login is required to use UltimateShell.
• Data you create in the app is stored locally on your device.
• We do not run our own cloud service for your shell sessions.
• If you choose to use optional AI features, your prompts are sent directly from your device to the AI provider you selected.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data on our own servers from normal app use.

UltimateShell may store the following data locally on your device:

• Connection settings you save (for example host names and preferences).
• Session-related data needed for app functionality.
• Local app settings and UI preferences.

This local data is used only to provide app features and remains under your device controls unless you export or share it.

3. Optional AI Features

UltimateShell may offer optional AI-assisted functionality. These features are off unless you decide to use them.

• AI requests are transmitted from your device to the external AI provider.
• The data you submit is governed by the provider's privacy policy and terms.
• Ultimate Apps does not require an account for this and does not broker your login.

4. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in UltimateShell. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share personal information from app usage with third parties except:

• When you explicitly use an optional third-party AI provider.
• When required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Data Retention

Since app data is stored locally, retention is primarily controlled by you. You can remove app data by deleting saved items in the app or uninstalling the app.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps in app design to reduce unnecessary data access. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect data handled by the app.

8. Children's Privacy

UltimateShell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International Users

If you use optional AI providers, your data may be processed in countries where those providers operate. Please review each provider policy for details.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
